"Science needs images; without them, facts are mute."

I am Paúl Molina Abril, an Ecuadorian biologist specializing in ornithology, with a particular focus on the reproductive biology and conservation of Andean birds.
I have documented, for the first time, key aspects of the reproductive cycle of hummingbird species such as the Blue-throated Hillstar and the Violet-throated Metaltail, along with other reproductive events in more than 120 bird species.

Currently, I lead monitoring, research, and outreach projects focused on Ecuadorian avifauna, firmly believing that knowledge is the first step toward effective conservation.
